Who we are
TFA Performance is run by Tafa Manjengwa, a sole trader based in Buckinghamshire, UK. We also trade as Home Solar Savings, the name you’ll see on our Facebook and Instagram ads. We help homeowners find out whether solar panels and batteries are right for their home. You can contact us at hello@tfaperformance.co.uk.
What we collect
When you fill in one of our forms (including forms on Facebook and Instagram), we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode, and your answers to our questions, for example whether you own your home and your approximate energy bill.
If you're a solar installer and you contact us through our website, we collect your name, company, email, phone number and the details you tell us about your business.
Why we collect it
- To contact you about your enquiry and check whether your home is suitable for solar
- To arrange a quote with a certified installer, if you ask for one
- If you're an installer, to reply to your enquiry and manage our work together
Our legal basis is your consent when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry.
Who we share it with
We share your details only with MCS-certified solar installers we work with, so they can give you a quote. We never sell your data to anyone else. We use trusted service providers to store it securely, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and our secure hosting provider.
How long we keep it
Up to 12 months after our last contact with you, then we delete it, or sooner if you ask.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or tell us to stop contacting you, at any time. Email hello@tfaperformance.co.uk and we'll act within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
